Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod are just a few minutes walk away and so are many other "secret" coves and bays, some accessible only by footpaths. The larger beach of Traeth Mawr is approximately 2 miles away and has a lovely long stretch of silver sand with rock pools and cliffs.
