Newport beach and various secluded coves are dotted along the coastline waiting to be explored and the coastal bus service can be caught at the end of the farm lane. Riding stables at the next door farm. At any time of the year, this cottage will provide a cosy and welcoming base. Fresh hot bread, cakes and "ready meals" are available daily from the owner's daughter in law.  SATURDAY changeover not Friday as 2010 brochure.

Almost on top of the hill overlooking Fishguard Bay and Dinas Island, this lovely barn conversion is situated on a 127 acre working farmstead. The owner has a passion for Highland Ponies (stallions, mares and foals), rare breed Silver Dun Galloway cattle, Black and Badger Face Welsh Mountain sheep as well as free- range geese, ducks and chickens. Guests and their well-behaved pets are offered the freedom of the farm providing the countryside code is strictly adhered to - remember to bring your wellies! The barn is situated close to the stables and in the midst of the farm activity, stables are available for guests? horses if required. The Coastal Path is only a mile away as is the beautiful little beach of Aberbach. The village of Dinas which has a couple of general stores and several pubs is one and a half miles distant. The village of Llanychaer with pub, post office and church is half a mile down the lane.

This beautifully converted barn is situated just a couple of miles outside of Laugharne which is famous as the village where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote in his boat house. Laugharne castle stands on a low cliff in the centre of the village and there are several pubs (including Browns Hotel), restaurants and shops. Pendine Sands are a 10 minute drive away and there is a 7 mile stretch of sand made famous by Malcolm Campbell and his car Bluebird. The County Town of Carmarthen is 13 miles away and has an excellent selection of high street and individual shops. The property is furnished and equipped to a high standard with quality fittings and furnishings throughout.
