Three newly converted barns situated on a working farm at the foot of the Cambrian Mountains, in the heart of Ceredigion and close to Tregaron a small Welsh-speaking town. Bordering the farm is the world famous Tregaron Raised Bog known as Gors Coch Caron which runs to 3000 acres and is renowned for its ornithological delights with the famous red kite being a local resident in the surrounding hills.
Finished to the very highest standard throughout, the cottages have traditional character with large oak beams, oak doors and floorboards, slate floors with geothermal underfloor heating and woodburning stoves. The owners have imaginatively combined contemporary furnishings and fittings to provide every modern comfort.
Tregaron is reknown for its trotting races, held annually at Dolyrychain farm on the Saturday following the May Bank Holiday and also over the August Bank Holiday weekend - the event is the largest of its kind in the UK and attracts over 10,000 visitors who are eager to watch the chariot-like spectacle. If you wish to book during these times, please be sure that you realise it is very busy indeed. The remainder of the time, Dolyrychain cottages are a perfect sanctuary for a peaceful holiday or a haven for walkers and cyclists.
